1. Antiquity-it must be ancient.

2. Continuous-enjoyed without any kind of interruption.

3.excercise as a matter of right-mere doubtful excercise of a right is not sufficient to a claim as a valid custom.

4.REASONABLENESS and certain-if a custom is vague,ambigous and indefinite it cannot be recognised a law.

5.morality-a custom which is immoral or opposed to public policy cannot be recognised as a custom.
