Visual arts are a means to manifest the deeply latent ideas of people who usually take a little deeper look into our world.

In the 7th Fajr Festival of Visual Arts in Tehran, Iranian artists have found opportunity to depict on the canvas their vision. Fariba Abazari is a photographer; she is trying to reflect the beauty of Islamic veil in her works.

Artworks in different fields are put on display including painting, sculpture, photography, calligraphy AND, of course calligraphy sculpting.

At a glance, one can see the two seemingly incongruent faces of art: hard strokes on canvases and the resulting elegant artworks.

Visual artworks usually take artistic imagination to see through an amalgamation of colors and signs and to figure out the meaning. For me, this one is reminiscent of a passionate love. Let’s see what’s the idea behind it.

Some of the artists find the festival itself an art. Because it has brought together under one roof amazing artworks from different fields of art.
