This was a film screening of Chau, Beyond the Lines, an Oscar Academy Award Nominee for best documentary and short subject, at UC Davis. The documentary is about a young man born with severe Agent Orange defects and his struggles to achieve his dreams as an artist. Courtney Marsh, the filmmaker, also gave an exclusive presentation on the making of this documentary. We also had the honor of bringing Paul Cox, leader of the Veterans for Peace and main author of the Victims of Agent Orange Relief Act. Mr. Cox discussed the on-going movement for compensation to those exposed by Agent Orange. Dr. Fraser Shilling, leading ecologist looking at Agent Orange dioxin, cleanup and social restoration in Vietnam, also joined into this discussion.
