Disney Hires ‘Blindspotting’ Director For A “Live-Action” Remake Of ‘Robin Hood’ With CGI Animals

Disney is mining the Vault yet again for a new live-action remake. This time, it’s “Robin Hood” that’s getting dusted off and made new. However, instead of doing a full-on live-action remake of “Robin Hood,” a la “Mulan,” the Mouse House is taking a more ‘Lion King’-esque approach to the source material.

According to THR, Disney has hired Carlos Lopez Estrada to direct a brand-new remake of “Robin Hood,” which will debut on the studio’s streaming service, Disney+.
